To deliver all contracted projects within the scheduled and slated (T)ime period. Within time to coincide with each client's plans and schedule. Within time to capitalize on current material and component prices and lessen the possible impact of price inflations.

 

To deliver projects within the parameters of the estimated Contract Sum. (C)ost is viewed by most if not all clients as the most significant factor of their respective projects, as such, Nx.Gen liaises and partners with suppliers and subcontractors to reduce purchasing cost while ensuring not to forgo the quality of materials, components and workmanship.

 

To deliver projects of (Q)uality, not only in aesthetics and visual appeal but quality in structural integrity, by adhering to building codes and standards set by the governing building authorities and the selection of quality and affordable building materials and components. Equally important is the quality in workmanship. Nx.Gen houses an effective and efficient subcontracting staff: Sean Watson (License Electrician & head of Electrical team), Robert Foster (certified Plumber & head of plumbing team) and Dwayne Downey (head of the Masonry team) just to name a few and all of who shares the organization's view of excellence in quality. Quality is paramount with Nx.Gen, both the Time and Cost factors ends with the completion of a project, quality is that element that continues onwards through to building occupation and operation for years and years to come.

Aundré Nelson

During my high school years at Cornwall College, a career in construction was always the mindset, the world of drafting and bringing those designs to fruition.

 

In the course of those summer months, I found myself on work experience with various construction companies, namely: Ashtrom Construction under the Management of Mr. Donald Whittle during the construction of the Secrets Resort & Spa in Montego Bay; and Northwest Construction under the management of Mr. Donovan James (recently deceased) during the construction of the 'Villagio' Town House & Apartment Village in Ironshore St. James.

 

After attaining a Diploma in Drafting & Building Technology at the Vocational Training & Development Institute (VTDI) I went on to pursue a Bsc. in Construction Project Management at the Herit Watt University by means of the B&B University College where I was lectured in multiple course by the president at the time of the Master Builders Association of Jamaica Mr. Raymond Cooper.

 

Upon completing my tertiary education endeavors, with an entrepreneural mentality coupled with what appeared to be a job market that offers no opening for Construction Managers in a suitable construction firm, i dared to venture out on my own. Nx.Gen Drafting & Construction is the result of my chosen path. Driven by customer satisfaction, Nx.Gen is here to satisfy all our client's needs and desires.
